We use the very latest materials, techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure you receive the most up-to-date safe treatment available. Our doctors are trained to perform numerous surgical procedures such as removing wisdom teeth, placing dental implants, corrective jaw surgery also known as Orthognathic Surgery, tumor removal, and bone grafting.

Through the use of intravenous sedation our surgeons can perform most of the required surgeries in our office, while patients remain comfortable and unaware of the procedure. All of our surgeons are extensively trained in the medical and dental aspects of both general anesthesia and intravenous sedation. It is our goal to make your surgical experience as pleasant and stress free as possible while maintaining the highest level of safety.

Dr. Larry Skoczylas is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then went on to earn his Masters degree in Dental Diagnostic Sciences from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Dr. Skoczylas also completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at University Hospital at the University of Michigan. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Skoczylas is a published author of numerous scientific articles, and has special interests in dental implants and re-constructive surgery of the face and jaws. Dr. Skoczylas is an accredited member of the surgical staff of Midland Hospital.

Dr. Richard Poupard earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. While there, he received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award and the Compendium Award for Dental Research. Dr. Poupard completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital, and he is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Poupard’s special interests include orthognathic surgery for obstructive sleep apnea as well as dental implant and re-constructive surgery. Dr. Poupard is an accredited member of the surgical staff of Midland Hospital.

Dr. Richard Bartling attended the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and multiple awards. After practicing general dentistry for several years, he completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Bartling is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and is published. His special interests are in trauma, laser and orthognathic surgery, as well as dental implant surgery. Dr. Bartling is an accredited member of the surgical staff of Midland Hospital.
