Why do I need a consultation?
A consultation accomplishes the following:

1. It allows you to become acquainted with your surgeon

2. To obtain and review acceptable X-Rays to plan your surgery safely

3. It gives your surgeons time to review your medical/dental histories and modify your medications

4. It allows time to explain the pros and cons of surgery and answer your questions

5. It allows discussion of light sedation techniques in order to accomplish your surgery in comfort

6. It allows time to contact your physician, dentist, or specialists if more detailed information is required

7. It ensures that enough time is booked to accomplish your surgery without rushing
